THE PLAN
Every Monday I will post the reading for the week ahead. It will be about 10 chapters a week. You might want to read a chapter or two a day, and catch up at weekends. If there is a verse that especially spoke to you, a question that you have, or a thought that struck you, please share it with your fellow travellers by making a comment.

2 Samuel 12:14 “The LORD has taken away your sin. You are not going to die. But because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for the LORD, the son born to you will die.” In the severe kindness of the LORD, it is often the case that sin is not without consequences. Sometimes misery is the only thing strong enough to teach us the seriousness of sin. But we are not to lose heart. Hebrews 12:5-6 reminds us that he does this to us because he loves us as sons and daughters.
