Every Monday I will post the reading for the week ahead. It will be about 10 chapters a week. You might want to read a chapter or two a day, and catch up at weekends. The second half of 3:11 is very well known. But I’ve never clocked the “also” and how 11b follows on from 11a. Pondering the difference that makes...

"Now all has been heard: here is the conclusion of the matter:
fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
For God will bring every deed into judgement, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil." 12:13-14
Look at the world through our eyes and there is so much that is ambiguous, contradictory, unresolved, unfair. But one day the One who sees, will deal with all that is wrong and put things right. And on this Easter Sunday we rejoice that the resurrection of Jesus from the dead is the guarantee of that glorious and happy day. Praise Him.
