Every Monday I will post the reading for the week ahead. It will be about 10 chapters a week. You might want to read a chapter or two a day, and catch up at weekends. Quality that in ch 17 we get a window (v20) of Jesus' prayers for us as His people! Namely protection and unity.
21:15-19. Love that Jesus restores Peter and commissions him for ministry. Struck that loving Jesus works itself out in caring for his people. Very struck by 19. The meaning of “follow me” is brought into very sharp focus. I often hear it in a very general sense. But He stands there as the one who has been crucified and now risen. Take in the path he has walked down. And then hear His call to follow.
