Every Monday I will post the reading for the week ahead. It will be about 10 chapters a week. You might want to read a chapter or two a day, and catch up at weekends. If there is a verse that especially spoke to you, a question that you have, or a thought that struck you, please share it with your fellow travellers by making a comment.

Wow, powerful (and sobering) stuff. But wow wow, the grace in chapter 9! What a wonderful, patient and loving God we have.
Amen to the above. Not read Amos for ages--what a treat! So much about social justice.
9:14 ...”and I will bring my people back from exile”. We keep seeing that despite all the twists and turns that is where the story of salvation ends: our gracious God will take His people home.
